In October 2021, the Harris County Commissioner’s Court implemented a redistricting plan which affects McKendree Park. McKendree Park is now part of Harris County Commissioner’s Precinct 3 rather than Precinct 4. After March 31, 2022, the maintenance of roads and signs in our neighborhood, that were handled by Precinct 4, will be handled by Precinct 3.

This change affects only road/sign maintenance. Police services will continue to be provided by Constable Ted Heap’s office (Precinct 5)

The McKendree Park Pool will be open on Monday, July 5, for regular hours of 8am-9pm. The pool is normally closed on Mondays for cleaning but will be open today for anyone wanting to swim during the long holiday weekend.

There is rain forecast for much of Monday, so please use caution & avoid swimming as soon as you hear thunder. Be safe and enjoy!
