McKendree Park – Notification Letter to Home Owners
Dear Home Owners:
The Board of Directors of McKendree Park Community Association would like to inform and notify the Community of a recent crime occurred within the Subdivision. There were no injuries to the victims. The police were called to the scene, and proper reports were filed and recorded.
This message is to remind all homeowners to be vigilant and be aware of your surroundings when you leave, come home from work, park your car in the driveway or pull into the garage. It is important to watch if you are being followed, or if something does not look right.
For all suspicious behaviors, please contact the Constables at #281-463-6666. It is suggested that you have this number on your cell phones for quick access in case of emergency.
As a Community, please watch out for your neighbors as well. Getting to know your neighbors and keeping an eye on the activities on your street will help deter any potential criminal activities.
Please contact Principal Management Group for any questions and/or concerns.
Sincerely,
The Board of Directors

Coyote around detention pond
Dear Homeowners,
There has been sightings of a coyote in the area around the detention pond on the west side of the neighborhood. The HOA has contracted with Outback Pest Control to set a trap to capture and relocate the coyote. Please be aware and try to avoid contact with both the coyote and the trap. The coyote sightings are more frequent during the dusk hours.
If you have any questions, please contact HOA@mkphoa.com.
Mild Drought Contingency Plan
Homeowners,
As you have likely seen, the Horsepen Bayou MUD has posted signs indicating that our district is in a Mild Drought Plan. You can find more information about the Horsepen Bayou Drought Plan on their website: http://www.horsepenbayoumud.com/Documents/Drought_Plan.pdf
I have outlined the MUD’s Mild Drought Response Measures Below. The important take-away is that in effort to reduce water usage, the MUD is asking residents to do the following:
- Even-numbered addresses may use outdoor watering on Tuesday and Saturdays.
- Odd-numbered addresses may use outdoor watering on Wednesday and Sundays.
- Common areas may use outdoor watering on Monday and Friday.
- Outdoor watering use is prohibited between the hours of 6:00am and 9:00am and between the hours of 5:00pm and 10:00pm.
