Condolences to the family of Tony Zarate

It is with great sadness that we learned one of our McKendree Park neighbors, Officer Marco Antonio “Tony” Zarate lost his life this week while on duty with the Bellaire Police Department. Our sincere condolences to all the Zarate family in this most difficult time.

Community Volunteer Clean Up

Some members of the Beautification committee along with community homeowner volunteers adults and children were out cleaning up the trash along both sides of the entrance of McKendree Park Drive. Trash along the walking trail remains and we are asking for community homeowner volunteers to meet at 9:30AM tomorrow April 19, 2016 at the trail to complete the clean up job. Thank you especially to our homeowners on Emeraldshire who so kindly stepped up and lent a hand to us. Unfortunate that the storm came on our trash pick up scheduled date and caused all the mess. Together, we can have our area cleaned up and looking nice once again. Thank you.

Pool News

All Homeowners should have received a letter from our property management group Associa (PMG) concerning the new pool entry fobs. If you would like access to the pool, please complete and return the form to PMG to obtain a fob for entry into the pool area. If you have any questions please contact PMG at the number listed on the home page.

Please note: Pool opening date is delayed. Upon completion of the seasonal maintenance the pool will reopen for all homeowners to enjoy.

Please “Practice Safety” around the pool at all times.

Waterline Flushing Notice – MUD

MUD Trail Project-Update

The MUD district has advised that the project has been delayed due to contractual concerns. Beginning Tuesday, January 19, the Texas Tree Team will be trimming trees that have hangover, to homeowners whose backyards lead to the retention pond. Please note that Texas Tree Team may request access to your backyard area to remove/clean any branches that may fall into your yard. Updates will be posted as received from the MUD district.

Thank you to our Beautification Volunteer Committee member for picking up the loose trash surrounding the pond and project area today.

Fall Festival Update

Texas Pride Disposal NEW Solid Waste Collection Provider NEW RECYCLE DAY -Monday

A notice to all residents of Horsepen Bayou MUD was included in the current monthly billing. Beginning Thursday, October 1, Texas Pride Disposal will be McKendree Park’s service provider. They are to deliver a new Recycle Container and WCA ( the prior service provider) is to pick up the one they had provided us. New RECYCLE Pick up day IS MONDAYS…… Garbage continues to be Monday and Thursday. HOLIDAY SCHEDULE is NEW YEARS DAY, INDEPENDENCE DAY< THANKSGIVING AND CHRISTMAS DAY>…..

Please note: The HOA is inquiring with WCA as to why their bins have not been picked up as of October 9, 2015. We are hoping to obtain an answer by end of day to advise you.
