Coyote around detention pond

Dear Homeowners,

There has been sightings of a coyote in the area around the detention pond on the west side of the neighborhood.  The HOA has contracted with Outback Pest Control to set a trap to capture and relocate the coyote.  Please be aware and try to avoid contact with both the coyote and the trap.  The coyote sightings are more frequent during the dusk hours.

If you have any questions, please contact HOA@mkphoa.com.

Mild Drought Contingency Plan

Homeowners,

As you have likely seen, the Horsepen Bayou MUD has posted signs indicating that our district is in a Mild Drought Plan.  You can find more information about the Horsepen Bayou Drought Plan on their website: http://www.horsepenbayoumud.com/Documents/Drought_Plan.pdf

I have outlined the MUD’s Mild Drought Response Measures Below.  The important take-away is that in effort to reduce water usage, the MUD is asking residents to do the following:

  1. Even-numbered addresses may use outdoor watering on Tuesday and Saturdays.
  2. Odd-numbered addresses may use outdoor watering on Wednesday and Sundays.
  3. Common areas may use outdoor watering on Monday and Friday.
  4. Outdoor watering use is prohibited between the hours of 6:00am and 9:00am and between the hours of 5:00pm and 10:00pm.
